I'm having the same issues with economics. I've reallocated my time to be able to spread out my studying time for other subjects as well but now my econs teacher thinks I've lost interest in the subject. Hearing that really broke my heart.

Any good tips on how to balance the workload?

I use the "50-10" method where I use 50 minutes to work on homework and then a 10 minute break (where I go get some more food, go to the bathroom or start preparing materials I need for the next 50 minutes). I think its the "Study Timer" extension application of Google, is the one I use to alert me how much time I have.

Its like a light pressure that I apply to myself and keeps my mind focused.

Eventually, for Mathematics, I was able to do my maths quicker and within the time frame.

Then, I allocate about 2 hours for any assignments.

My studying usually takes place on the bus (reading notes), during my free sessions and on the weekends - have three weeks for yourself.
