That's a flawed example, because I'm within "your domain", as you call it. You can therefore know some things about me. I am not God; he is, according to you, in "another domain". The very fact that he exists in a domain independent of ours means we cannot know him in any way, or even if he does exist.

I know that you exist because you're within my domain. God is not within my domain. I therefore cannot know if he exists. Imagine there being a locked room that no-one can ever enter. We cannot know for sure what is in the room, but only speculate on its contents. You're speculating on its contents. I'm saying I have no opinion on them either way.

Every so-called "sign" that exists can be explained away with science or mere human actions (such as the writing of the Qur'an - I can write a holy book tomorrow and claim Gabriel transcribed it to me). I therefore have no reason to interpret these signs as divine.
