but as christians they should pay attention to what the bible says. there are more than 75 Bible references critical of alcohol consumption.

Since when did christians care what the bible says. Most of them just interpret in a way that allows them to do whatever it is they were going to do anyway.

hmm yeah. i used to drink as well. well i was raised christian, never really made the decision to really do it. lived like a non-christian, drank etc. became a christian, now i don't. so i'm not coming from a 'drinking is not fun and is bad in every way' perspective. drinking is fun. it makes what you're doing more fun. but i don't do it because the Bible says i shouldn't
