Advanced:

Nineteen Eighty-Four (Powerplay)- love it.

Throwim Way Leg (In the Wild)- ok, a bit boring.

The Golden Age (In the Wild)- not too bad

Gwen Harwood's poetry- really enjoying it atm.

Extension (Crime Fiction):

The Skull Beneath The Skin- shite and boring.

Anil's Ghost- didn't like at first reading, starting to appreciate it a bit now.

The Big Sleep- brilliant film, Humphrey Bogart is a legend!

-The Tempest- I found it to be tedious and boring.
-Brave New World and Blade Runner- I really enjoyed analysing them and thought that as textes they were pretty good.
-Harwood-Not too bad, the reading of it was pretty boring, however, I find the different readings and trying to extract the different facts alright

Enjoyment isn't the right word...but some of them are certainly interesting.

Though there are better canon out there IMO.

I enjoy all of my Ext 1 texts, im doing spec fiction. The Handmaid's Tale has become my favourite book. I'm a fan of my journeys text; Skrzyneki's poetry. Emma/Clueless was alright. Lear was pretty good. Love Frontline, but hey who doesn't.

I wish we were doing spec fiction; we're doing Revenge tragedy and its such a pointless genre.

I'm loving Frontline. Didn't really like Coleridge very much, couldn't get into BNW, Bladerunner put me to sleep. But I didn't mind analyzing King Lear =)

I quite enjoyed Mudrooroo's Wild Cat Falling (Advanced) and Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice (Ext. 1). Currently, we are analysing Sigfried Sassoon (who indirectly led to the death of Oliver Wilde) and his poems in class, which are actually very good. Our next study will be the lyrics of Midnight Oil - Beds Are Burning. Excellent.

I quite enjoyed Harwood poetry, most of her poems were allright.
But at the moment I'm reading Diving for Pearls (actually finished it now) and really enjoyed that.
