.doc file opening as multiple blank pages (1 Viewer)

I have been doing an assessment task for the past 2 weeks using Open Office. I have saved it and opened it a number of times without error, however when I try to open it now (that I have finished >>), it comes up as 6-7 blank pages.

Despite this the word count is still 917 or whatever.

I have tried opening it on different computers using Microsoft Office 2007 and 03, converting it to pdf and opening with other programs, nothing will let me view the text.

Anyone have any solutions (other than Open Office is a fail piece of shit and that I should get the real thing asap)?

ctrl A to see if it still exists, but font has changed to white.

wordcount still says 917 eh?

the words should still be there, check the formatting.

Other than that, just try changing text colour, and as omie said formatting.

Yeh, I crt a'd and it selected nothing.

I think it had something to do with it being in a table, why that would cause probelms I don't know but yeh.

If you were using OpenOffice why were you saving it as a .doc instead of a .odt?

So I can open it at uni.

I actually started it at uni, which would have been MS Office 03.
