Just wondering if it is still compulsory, or as of this year it is not something you have to buy into and/or support?

And if the worst happens and i have to join - whats the $damage ?

No.

Here is the basic lowdown - The guild and source have combined forces to form ARC, which basically isnt all that different, but just combines them both.

First semester, nobody has to join - services are provided so you can try things out and see how things are.

Second semester, if you wish to join, you will have to pay a fee which has not been disclosed as yet.

The Sports Association has merged with the Lifestyle Centre (unigym for you oldies).

I will give more info when I find out.

The new body will be called UNSW Sport And Recreation, but that won't happen till at least session 2. The target date for the launch is July 1st.
