My principle was talking about this the other day, about how we should get in a pattern (i.e. sleep/wake at the same time everyday leading up to the exams- if you're not already) so that our bodies get used to it and basically, it makes us more efficient/focussed/aware.

Sleep 10:30pm, wake 6am. Been doing it for nearly a year now, but it usually falls through in the holidays.

Sleep 11pm, up at 7am. I think the optimum sleep time is 8 hrs, which is what I'm doing.

It's so hard to commit to a bedtime. And to get to school I need to wake up at 5.30, and there's no way I'm doing that for 3 weeks of holidays...

I'd say stick to normal sleep patterns. It'd be unhealthy if you tried to make yourself go to bed against your body clock.
