At the beginning, I tried to. Like I'd get my wallet out when the bill came. But the bf was fairly insistent and for a long time I haven't paid for anything.

I don't expect him to, though. And if he was skint I'd cover, no complaints, no worries.

Yeah see that's totally fine. If he wants to that's his business.

It's just princesses that expect it that make me drop them like they're hot.

"If women want to be treated as equal they need to pay their own way, not necessarily on the first date but shortly thereafter. If not, in many cases they have supplied sex for a valuable consideration, which is the definition of prostitution.

When sex is a reward, the person giving the reward is a prostitute. The problem is not so much that men have to wait several dates for sex rather, that they have to pay for several dates before sex."

well i dont pay for dates... the dates that ive been on the guy has always paid. (movie dates lols)

but like... on the last date i went on, yeh he payed for tickets, drinks, junk etc and he was mucking around with me saying that he wants me to buy him food after... well me, i was just being polite and said yeh why not? my reasons for doing so was because yeh he paid for everything else! the least i could do was buy the guy something to eat. its not that big of a deal right??

when i got back to my friends house after the date she nearly dropped me coz i bought him food :mad1: "your not supposed to shout him anything! hes supposed to buy you everything" me thinking he did buy me everything... i ddnt eat when he ate LMAO. it was only $10 :mad1: im not that shallow 'sorry i cant shout you food because its against the girl code that on a first date im not allowed to buy you anything because you're supposed to be the one shouting.'

i miss interpreted the question, i thought like do you pay for people to go on dates with you...and im like, i think that would make them some kind of prostitute...and why would you take a prostitute anywhere for a date.

ROFL i interpretted it that way too until i realised what it meant... but to answer the Q, in the past i did. i'm very traditional in that approach especially for the first few dates.

We both pay.. say for example, he pays for the movie n i pay for the food
I think it's only fair.. and I hate feeling like a scab/ hobo/ poor person thingy lol and I don't want him to think that I'm being selfish n stuff. Both of us agreed to go out so both of us should contribute in some way =]
