Do we need to state what our texts are about in our essays? (1 Viewer)

Hey Guys
Does anyone know if in our AOS Essay we should dedicate a paragrpah to each of our texts discussing what they are about after we've done the intro? It seems like a waste of time, cause i assume all markers will know what our stimulus choice is about and probably our prescribed text aswell... fair enough for our chosen one but it could seem a bit random to only explain that one.... any ideas on what we should do ?

In your introduction you should always state the texts you'll be using, but you really don't have to state what your texts are about unless it relates to what you're writing about (which is often the case). The marker would have an idea of what your texts are about when you outline them or preview them in your introduction. There is no need to dedicate a paragraph to it, otherwise you may even lose marks if it is not relevent to the demands of the question.
