just a question, if you are aiming to do comm/law @unsw but do not recieve the uai cuttoff needed to get straight in, is it better to:

a) do comm @unsw and then try transfer?
OR
b) do comm/law @ [another uni] and then transfer?

any help would be appreciated =)

option b would be much better...try applying either at mac, uts or uws...work your ass off for one year then try transferring to unsw. Youll probably need a distinction average as an absolute minimum if you want your application to be competitive. Also you could get exemptions for most of your subjects, so you dont have to start from scratch once you transfer.
