the point of them is that if you copy the diagram incorrectly (like look at it wrong and write an O instead of a D, for example) they can look at your diagram and mark you correctly off that, opposed to loosing the marks.

Re: do u LOSE marks if u dont Copy or trace

the whole point of copying the diagram is if you drew in construction lines or whatever they can see that and understand your reasoning, or if you said like let angleABC = theta or something

but if you referred to the sides/angles/shapes exactly as they were written in the diagram on the question paper there won't be a problem

so you don't need to worry

i guess u will...
IF they ask u to trace or copy the diagram..and u don't..
i guess u MIGht lose some mark..

UNless u use the numeric and alphabet in the given diagram...
Not like u use ur OWN Angle 1...or something like that..
U wont lose a mark i guess.

unless is specifies .. which it didn't you won't lose any marks for it. if they were going to give you a mark for drawing a diagram they would, but seems they didn't say, they can't take a mark off. if they did take a mark off, they would be taking it away from another question as it's out of 120, and there's no negative marking.

you dont loose marks but if they cant quite get the concept ur trying to make and its marked on the diagram then they can give u marks!

you don't lose anything. It helps with clarity though. but i don't think there was anything in that test that really needed it? (dont have the paper with me)
