do i really need... textbook? (1 Viewer)

im doing the following subjects this semester:

chem1021
biot1011
bios2021
anat1521

now im just wondering if it really is necessary to buy all the textbooks for each of the subjects as i made a HUGE mistake last semester by buying every textbook and ended up not using any of them but for one subject. tips and advices are greatly appreciated!! kthanksbai.

I recommend you wait a little while. If your lecturer/class mates or anyone has told you it's prescribed and will be used or homework has been set in regard to it then it's most likely you'll need it but if you haven't heard anything about it or all that's been said is that it's of small relevance to the course than you shouldn't bother

I'm only buying 1 txtbook this semester despite having 4 supposedly prescribed to me and only because my lecturer has asked for us to read the first chapter by next week (so obviously it's required)
