Does anybody know any good examples for Distinctive voices?

i know Chris Lilley's We can be heroes is a good one because my teacher showed it to us if anyones interested.
i was wondering if anyone had anything to share

Is it for an assesment?
For my assesment speech on distictive voice im doing the tv show scrubs.
Its a bit harder than doing a movie or anything but it's something diffrent.

also: Letters to Alice, Pretty Woman, Star Wars. . theres heaps out there when you think about it.

My teacher suggested that for distinctive voices in relation to the prescibed speeches, we shouldnt do movies but should be doing songs and poems because your not analysing the tone of their voice its more the message.

(and i dont think you'll find a worthy message in the tv show scrubs?)

Try some protests songs like

* Bob Dylan's 'Hurricane' (African american rights much?) with MLK's speech
* Counting crows - Big Yellow Taxi (to do with the environment - severn cullis suzuki's speech?)

Protests songs are good as related texts becasue they actually relate to the text (Unlike scrubs and we can be heroes, wft?)

I absolutely disagree, songs are always a very weak choice for any sort of English related topic, this being because of the lack of depth a song provides. While on the other hand a poem, movie, speech or book provides a much wider variety of quotes and techniques to analyse.
