Your point makes perfect sense, but one could quiet easily read your post as being one that acts to denigrate the arts and humanities. Even though that's not your intention, I just thought that it would be best to respond and to restate (for everyone) that there's nothing to be gained by pulling down one degree/field of study in order to advance another.
