Agreed lol, $2k minimum but then again they last for a long time (provided you look after them and have decent quality parts and I guess are to an extent are just lucky). Though you'd really only have to replace RAM and graphics card(s) if you got a decent case, sli motherboard, good power supply and what not. Of course there would come a time when you are best to scrap it and get a new one though.

I still prefer my Xbox 360 for gaming. It's just easier having standardised controls, no requirement to do an installation (for most games), easy automatic updates if necessary, etc...

It just works. And looks fantastic on a huge screen hooked up via HDMI. Considerably cheaper than a half decent gaming PC and no fear of the hardware becoming 'obsolete' (until the next console comes out which has a much bigger gap than when you'd need to upgrade your PC to play the latest games).

But I admit that FPS is still better with KBM.
