Last time I went, the lights suddenly went off (not all but the isle I was in) and then I saw this weird old man (he looks like he's smiling all the time) standing there trying to switch the lights on (or something like that, I don't really know what he was doing).

So I left.

Yeah if I walk to Redfern, I fear that too. That's why I take the longer, but much nicer walk to Central.

however at night i would head straight for central.

Yeah I've been told that & to follow the crowd. There's always USYD people walking back and forth from the uni and Redfern. I've only just started walking there though.

Nicer? It's noisier, steeper, more crowded and unless you catch a train that goes over the Harbour Bridge, the train's take a minute or two longer to get to your destination. Booo!

Plus all those smelly UNSW kids catch the train from Central.
