hey if anyone knows which unis do the '50 % UAI/50 % GPA' thing, and which unis just take ya highest rank (eg GPA or UAI, like UWS does) could they PLEASE list anyones they know of??

for non-year 12 leavers who have already completed part of a tertiary course that is.

for MQ, internal transfer only looks at GPA, not UAI(unless it is you are transferring into law)
i guess it is best to email each university and check their criteria, afterall, you get an "official" response from each uni

i'm pretty sure syd is 50 uai 50 gpa

Yep, it's true.

Hipop - you could always do a non-award (or equivalent) at your nearest uni :)

Macquarie requires one to pass all non-award subjects, then you're in a BA the following year :)

Possible requirements include:
STAT
Med/Pharm Test
Personal Statement (Except Macquarie and UNSW)

Just check B0S --> General --> Transfers :|
