Apart from differing days and hours, what would you say are the other differences between uni and school? Do we still get homework, have to make notes on the topics, and do you get hand-in assessments?

You have to do your own homework. The lecturers aren't going to push you. Plus you only see your tutors once a week. You can be incredibly lazy and not do anything, and of course drop out and fail uni.

You get hand in assignments. Again they give you something like 2-4 weeks to do them and they don't push you. Usually first years do all-nighters to get the assignment handed in.

You make all your notes in lectures and from course material. You may get some material but most of it has to come from you.

how different is lecture or tutor and high school teacher?
my high school, one of chemistry teacher absolutely
disliked students asking questions about content and
even hesitated to offer students chance to ask any questions
about assessment. eg- check on student's oral presentation
one or two days before assessment day.

i know this depends on lecturers and tutors, but generally from your experience, is lecture or tutor really hesitate or dislike to give students
help when they ask for?

Majority of lecturers and tutors ive come across offer a great amount of help if asked for it, they usually make a big song and dance about if you need help, ask for it blah blah blah..
I have had issues with others not offering help but that as you said is generally dependent on the person.

uni is great!
you bludge half the time, dont do your study, dont listen in lectures, play noughts and crossess in tutorials and still end up passing all your units!
its pretty good since i was only stressed when exams and assessments were due but its all good!
i love the breaks!! i spend almost 3 and a half months doing nothing depending on whether my exams are in the 1st week. how great is that?!

your not allowed to as questions in lectures. if you do other students will roll their eyes and think your a tryhard, coz everyone just wants the lectures over with and get the fk out.

And you don't have to ask the tutor or lecturer for permission to go to the toilet during class. You just walk out.
