I assume you mean only exam mark. I tanked the trials. Here are mine, tirals first:

1. Adv English, 81:84.
2. Food Tech, 76:84.
3. Ancient, 59:86.
4. Eco, 58:72.
5. SOR, 33:43.
6. Maths, 7:35. :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: *
7. Business, 54:81.

For Maths trial I got 8/120, it comes to 6.77777777777777.....%

This thread makes no sense at all.

Trial marks are raw. HSC marks are aligned, and we never see the raw mark. It's just not useful or meaningful to compare raw marks to aligned marks.
It does make sense?
How can I possibly say to myself "oh I need a HSC mark of say 92 in mathematics" when I have no idea at all what sort of raw marks I would need to be looking at to do this.

I am curious as to how big or small the link is between trial and HSC marks so I can set myself a benchmark of what sort of RAW marks I need to be achieving.

huge difference(e.g. my chem. exam marks: Trials: 54/100 HSC: 83/100) as I got sick during the trials and my f***king parents sent me to school anyway cause they felt that by keeping me at home resting they felt and I quote: "I would not be a man" WTF?!!!

My UAI(86.25) could have been alot higher but those dickheads ruined it all for me!!!!!!
why didn't you apply for misadventure then?

Yes, trials are raw and HSC is aligned but mine can still be compared because I got aligned for trial in my report!!!

2 Unit Mathematics
TRIAL RAW 119/120
TRIAL ALLIGNED 99
Is that aligned? Looks like more of a percentage to me?

It may appear that way but it's aligned by my maths coordinator.

The school said that I could only apply for a misadventure if I did not have a med. certificate.

I think this thread fails too. You have trials RAW and HSC ALIGNED. There is little correlation.

Thought so too, but it's good to see the link between HSC Marks and trial marks as a means of what 09ers could aim for in trials for a respective HSC Mark.

Overall kind of close but considering the first was raw marks, in raw mark terms significantly better in trial at school.

I did all cssa trials and did much much better in all of them high 80s- 90s except ext maths. Cssa papers are meant to be a lot harder than the hsc, shows what silly mistakes do
