Did anyone screw up the exam? (1 Viewer)

I did quite badly, spent too much time on q5 n q6.
I estimated i would get a raw mark of something like, 75/120.
did anyone find it difficult?

YES! Those integrals in Q1 were pretty difficult, I spent 30 mins just doing those.

Q1 and 2 were easy, I did all of those. I didn't even attempt Q6-8, and did random bits of Q3-5 that were easy marks.

Heaps of people have said it was the hardest 4U exam since the 90s. I tend to agree. But studying would've helped, if I actually did any.

yeah, the second last question of q1 was pretty difficult and the conics one was really hard too.

I screwed up a lot - but it was to be expected seeing as I've never had the work ethic to try and do well at the course.

i dont think its harder than the 2000 one, but obviously a lot harder than 2007 and 2006

Those circle Q's in Q4 completely fucked me over, an the volume thing in Q8

YOu jsut take out tan^2x and change it to sec^2x-1 and then it's simple.

yeah i got raped by conics, those circles and the q8 volume which i didnt attempt... hopefully i get about 80% in questions 1-4 to make up for it... but unlikely chance i reckon, i thought some integrals were very difficult and the last part of q2 i couldnt get.

yes, yes it was. i practically memorised [while still understanding the concept] all of the tips in jeff geha's 50 tips, and i think used about 1. i couldn't have predicted the crap they threw in there as it was all quite left of centre.. ie an elephant themed exponential qu, random circle triangles in question 4 etc... they asked barely any mechanics, no volumes by shells, harsh conics qus, and the paper, as a whole made me feel like this: :angry:
