i don't look asian, but i don't look fully german either, so when i speak canto to my mates people just look at me strangely

yea its quite easy. put yourself in my situation. i can speak english, canto and mandarin but i can only write simplified. my whole life is english even though i come from where i do - but im coming to aus!

its quite easy. im not exposed to it that often. my culture and my school, the people around me speak english or we speak slang stuff, but chinese i only need to use it out on the street occasionally...otherwise i have no use for it here.

LMAO luckily my school has like only 8 chinese people

3 have no idea wat they speak besides english 2 mandos me and a friend and another friend speaks canto lol they cant speak it for crap.

before the overload of overseas students there was just me and this mando girl.. then when the overseas arrived they all looked at me and couldnt tell whether i was a 'local' or an overseas student.. that was funny
