is it a subject that requires alot of work ? cuz i wanna chuck it in as an elective n ppl in the past have said its easy therefore making it a good choice...

also (obviously) 4 those who have done it, can i get away with not attending 1 of 2 lectures ?

You might have already done the maximum of 30 cp of 100 lvl subjects.

Make sure you have done enough to satisfy the 300 level requirements aswell.

you could do dem256 that actually seems easier than dem127, and it has no tutorial just a 2hr lecture. it's in the 2nd sem, so just re arrange ur schedule a lil.

Now I want to do that subject instead of DEM127. But I'd have to change my subjects around from semester 2. I also haven't done any of the pre-requisites.

yeah you need either one on dem127, bba101 or mktg101. I guess you would ace it since you're a commerce student, and it's called "business demographics."
oh well, maybe the thread starter has done one of the pre reqs
