Hey guys is it true that once u get into uni that u can defer to the course of your choice?

I think he means change to a course he wants to do.

If UAC aren't kind to you, then simply come to uni and do whichever course you can get into (any course would do), then go well in it. That makes applying for a change so much more easier.

thanks heaps guys! urrmmmm yeh i was wondering if i could get into nursing at wollongong which is a 71 but then differ to a BA in communication( advertising and marketing) which is a UAI of 90.00 ive heard u could do it....but i'm not really sure...im in yr 12 atm.

hmm... those are quite different courses... are you sure?

1) its TRANSFER, not DIFFER/DEFER

2) If you don't get 90.00, you might like to try arts instead, that way you will get credit if you successfully transfer. in Arts you might like to major in in that field as well...good luck

If you're planning on changing courses, try to get into a B.Arts course as the communications degree has a stronger link with it than any other degree, although if you do well in any course, UOW are pretty kind in allowing you to transfer cross-faculty.

Just thought id say that i have withdrawn from my law subjects... but i am still enrolled in my double degree - meaning i can do 5 commerce subjects at a time if i like
