is it possible to only defer for 6 months or so, see i want to go to uni this year but i also feel like i need a little bit more of a break, before getting back into study, a year is a little too long

Normally there's nothing to stop you from deferring for only one semester from an administrative point of view, but it would be very difficult because most subjects, especially at first year level, start at the start of the year, not in the middle of the year.

Or to put it another way, most 2nd semester subjects have 1st semester prerequisites.

You'd have to check your subject guide to see whether the subjects you want to do are also offered in 2nd semester.

emytaylor should go to a different uni imho.

considering it, i got into ACU as well, i think i am going to go there better degree makes me more employable
