Why was a false post created for the bos newsletter making it look like I was in favour of the welfare state? :(

EDIT: Is it because I haven't said anything intelligent this year?

"The Government's huge failure with this issue is not pushing a massive reform to social welfare in line with liberal values. Most economists support social welfare to clean up the market's mess. Our industrial relations system was designed to take part of the social welfare burden. Stripping that away, without modernising our social welfare system to accommodate the changes is just plain silly."

Maybe rather than sending a huge group email BCC the admins are doing it manually - for all ninety thousand members.....

As much as I think you're orsum, the yearly letter sounds like those stupid Year-Book reports that teachers are forced to write.

'Year 3, Team H had an interesting semester. Whilst being the bottom team, we never gave up and nearly won one mach. Rob is awarded the best paper-weight, and James is awarded the best cannon-fodder award...'

Also, you've seemed to have tried to inform people of important dates and events -- if you do that, you need to include all important events, so it's just better to mention a the forums for transfers, important dates, and general HSC/uni stuff, rather than pretending that the letter can help people in that area...

I'm sad because I didn't win the best poster ever award or the award for being the smartest most underappreciated person in the universe. I'm also sad that no FIGJAM award was offered.

But the reports did remind of my junior sporting days.

It reminded me of it, too, except this time I seem competent, rather than 'Rob wins best award for person quickest to learn to catch...'

Actually, I take what I said back.

Whilst the letter is contrived, I assume that it's formatted in a better way that makes it easier to navigate.

It would have been cooler to make a pdf file, so you could have made columns, pictures, and other lame stuff. (Next year, though -- I guess this year was a trial?)

That was year 10. (Team G)
It's good to know that you catch. For I mastered the art of catching in under 11s.

I miss cricket and tennis :(...I really enjoyed the competition and the joy of beating someone. I really really miss the winning part. It's kinda like pseudo sexual dominance where you assert your greater physical ability over the otherweaker individual. You then go home with an inflated ego ready to take on the next challenger.

My junior sporting career highlights involved making people cry. I loved making spoilt brat tennis players cry, be it a rep comp or some junior cup series thingy.

Other highlights include being one of the only public school boys to hit a 50 on Barker College number 1. Usually they don't let lesser schools like mine set foot on their turf.
