in a time when the only reggae spin-off we hear on the radio is reggaeton, the next big thing in reggae has come along in the form of damian marley, he is not new at all, his old album 'halfway tree' is a borderline reggae classic because it was that good.
now he's back with the [only 1 week old] 'welcome to jamrock' album, and it features nas and black thought (of the roots)
reggae with a touch of hip hop done perfectly this album is 5/5
the single 'welcome to jamrock' has been out for awhile and it doing well in US, i hope it does well here because damian marley is great, he also has a few political shots in his lyrics too.
5/5
who else has heard and loves this album or is a fan at least
