oh...ic~~Cactus said:Do you mean UAI cutoffs for Uni courses? If you do, yes the UAI cutoff is based on demand. For example if you look at last year's BArts @ SydU, which had a cutoff of 86.5. That means that the person with the lowest UAI who was accepted into that course last year had a UAI of 86.5
I managed 110/120 on 2001, there is NO chance I'm getting that on 2004!coroneos said:2004 was easier than 2001!!!
what also isn't fair is the fact that the UAI for particular courses are getting higher. So meanwhile we're working harder for the same UAI, but the UAI required for the course we want to do is getting higher!!!coroneos said:It isnt fair that it is harder to get same uai every year.
I'm pretty sure 100/120 will get you around 93. The 2001 cut-off for a Band 6 was 96/120, so the 2003 cut-off was probably somewhere in the vicinity of 85-90. So I'd say that the 2004 cut-off would be around 90-95 - only my guess though.coroneos said:exactly.. hence 100/120 may not cut it for a 90
I'd be inclined to say 115 could get you 98, but it's too close to say whether it would push you into the 99 range. A fair few people get 99, but because it's recorded to the nearest 0.1, it changes things a little bit. Most of the top 50 in the state probably got 98.5+ aligned.coroneos said:but that means 115/120 = 98-99
