I wrote a story concentrating on the complexities of alienation through an ambigious relationship of father and son.I think 'celebrate' can be taken any way you want. This isn't a clear cut question direction like the essay, and the ambiguity of the creative directions allows any sort of interpretation you want. You hit the stimulus, you hit the relationships aspect, you hit a complex and original take on an aspect of belonging, and your fine. You don't have to interpret 'celebrate' in a positive way.

I can't believe i didn't read rest of the question

"celebrates the way relationships contribute to a sense of belonging"

could this also mean not belonging,,?
i wrote a story where a girl experiences not belonging through relationship

am i fucked?
No you're not fucked. Why couldn't you 'celebrate' not belonging with themes of individuality and a greater a sense of self? The adv. course 'celebrates' literalism to the extent that people can't think for themselves and the majority of the state prepare really generic answers. I say kudos for your answer, mine was similar.

The thing with english is that certain aspects like "celebrating" can be interpreted uniquely by different people.
Isn't almost exactly what I said?
