yeah, but it is interesting seeing the different interpretations of cf. The main thing is that we can back them up with evidence, although unfortunatley that is difficult in the creative writting section where the evidence is our own creative writting lol

The conventions don't have to be obvious. You don't even have to use conventions at all, if you chose to subvert, satirise or manipulate. The markers will pick up on what you are writing, I don't think you need to spell it out.
