Today's crash out: My English teacher basically told us that we did the shittiest piece of writing ever and we're gonna fail. wow that's so motivating now. Now I'm too depressed to do any work. Why is it always on a Thursday?

no it was. It's the whole class. I got a C- and I got demolished in the feedback. and I don't know how to fix it. But it was a practice task but I don't see myself improving over the next 3 weeks

Aww, well if its any consolation before my eng advanced assessment I hadn't studied (a few days prior) and handed in a practice task that I was pretty much told was really really bad. I ended up locking in over 3 days and getting a 19/20, so trust me it's never too late you can do it !! I'd really recommend reading analysis and making sure you understand any required texts, that's all I did : )

Aww, well if its any consolation before my eng advanced assessment I hadn't studied (a few days prior) and handed in a practice task that I was pretty much told was really really bad. I ended up locking in over 3 days and getting a 19/20, so trust me it's never too late you can do it !! Hmmm I haven't done those. With Shakespeare my tip is to revise the techniques and then link them to broader themes. Pretty basic advice ik but its helpful if you make a table with quotes --> techniques --> link, then base your paragraphs on those themes/ideas. Is it more the analysis ur struggling with or the actual essay writing?

Ohhhh okay hm
make sure to use key words and synonyms for what is asked in the q, also at the end of every paragraph summarize your argument and how the paragraph specifically relates to the question. I'll try to think of some more ideas when I get home if you'd like

ahh smth like that happened to me as well
except it was with wired earphones a while ago and they werent working and i didnt realise that the sound was coming out my speakers
and thankfully the person next to me muted it b4 it got too loud

That happened to me on the bus once, i forgot to connect my earphones and kept on increasing the volume becuase i couldn't hear
