conversions and binary arithmatic! (1 Viewer)

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->hey, if we get asked to do binary arithmatic in the option 'developers view of hardware" ... can we change it to decimal & do the math and then just convert it back? its so much easier that way for me... esp with division... SamD do you know anything? help guys!!

Its unlikely you'll get a high mark for the question. Its easier, but it doesn't show any understanding of binary arithmetic on your part, which is what the question is testing.

I had a question in a practice exam which involved binary subtraction, so I thought I'd be clever and convert it to decimal and back again. Got 1 out of 5. But my teacher's a tough marker.... oh well.
