i need to know the main issues facing consumers but more importantly, the remedies available
note- im not talking about legislation-does anyone know any alternative remedies to legislation theat relate to consumers??????????

* The marketing and advertising of products (misleading and deceptive advertising, false reps, bait advertising)
* Unlicensed traders (occupational licensing and regualtion)
*Consumers that run the risk of default when financing a purchase (Loans, credit)
*Unfair Contracts (Credit Review Act)

Remdies:
*Court (arbitration, hearing)
*Self help and awareness

Statutory remdies:
In text book
