In an HSC exam, they will either ask you to derive the equations in an earlier part, or they will give them to you.
I can't guarantee that your school will do the same when writing exams, but in any case you are not meant to just quote them.
Also, the equations you refer to are NOT parametric equations. They are CARTESIAN equations for a straight line that happen to involve the parameter from the curve.
I'm pretty sure you can quote them, but you'll almost always be required to derive them as part of the question, so I wouldn't bother. It's not hard to derive them anyway.
