You need 2 related texts for Area of Study, Module A and Module C. No related text is required for Module B.

I did not know that... Are you sure?
Yes.

I did my HSC last year and you need at least on related text for module A and at least one for module C (they can be the same) and at least one for belonging.

They can be the same text(s).

It's advised to have AT LEAST TWO.

Module B does not need a related text because it's a CLOSE STUDY of a text, and you can't closely study a text by reference to another text.

In most years they ask for TWO related texts in at least one of those three sections-but you never know in which one they will ask for two-therefore you need at least two for each

They're headed more towards one related text for each section.

Last year:
Mod A - AT LEAST ONE related text
Mod C - ONE related text
Belonging - AT LEAST ONE related text

But it's still safe to have two.

And I'm like 80% sure Mod C will need two this year.
