I don't know what other universities do in terms of enrollment, but I enrolled for UWS online. I really cannot explain the process, but I referred to this page, which is essentially a step-by-step guide, to help find my way around.

Not all universities have enrollment days. You would have thought the internet would have made that kind of redundant.

Ive been on mysr and have tried to complete the online form to enrol but im having trouble with the units. It says in the handbook to click add units and then press search but it then comes up with no results. Is it possible that I dnt have to do this for my particular course (bachelor of early childhood studies, child and family)

What did you search for? You DID type in a unit name/code to search?

Academic advising days are currently in place to help you with enrolments.

http://www.uws.edu.au/students/stuadmin/start/local/info

Popestar You are not enrolled till you fill out your units manually online and register your tutes, etc over the phone. Also please read instructions your are supposed to refer to your course and enter relevant units, electives, etc.

http://handbook.uws.edu.au/hbook/course.asp?course=1615.3

Thus you must type in these numbers for first year enrollement which includes putting in autumn and spring semester subjects.

Full-time

Year 1

Autumn/1H session

101428.1 Multiliteracies
101114.1 Ethics in Education
100321.1 Children with Additional Needs and their Families

101112.1 Diversity and Difference
100309.1 Contemporary Perspectives of Childhoods
101113.1 Early Intervention and Prevention in Educational Contexts
101110.1 Children, Science and Technologies

Note exclude the number and decimal point when entering units into course/enrolement

We used to have enrolment days on campus two years ago, but too many students = long lines, on a hot day. But you'll probably still need to go to campus some day to collect your student card.

You put one of those numbers into the "unit set code" (eg 101428) box and the corresponding name of the unit title into "unit set title" (eg Multiliteracies), then search it should then come up with the unit name and then you click enrol and don't mess around with the unit set category box if it's listed at "all set major" or undergrad, etc.

I hope your not blonde.

you can call the mysr helpline 1300 668 370 - they can talk you through the enrolmen t process or definitely go to your academic advising

it is good to enrol in your units before tutorial registration cause it is first in best dressed for selecting the time you want to attend classes - so it is always good that you enrolment is finalised before then
