When i go UNSW rectangle and type course it tells me that COMP1911 (for mechanical engineering) and COMP1917 (computer science) clash. Which one should i do, which will be good for both mech and comp sc.

Also Where can i find the list of electives that i can choose for comp sc and which electives are good.

Anything you want, unless you're working towards a specialisation/major for some reason.

if you are doing a combined degree of mech eng/comp sci you will take comp1917 and you will not take comp1911

you can think of it like this. comp1911 is like 2u math and comp1917 is like 2u + 3u. they cover the same stuff, but comp1917 goes into more detail
