Hey all,

I couldn't make it to the UNSW open day, so could someone tell me the advantages of doing CnJ (Bachelor of Media) over UTS? I was really impressed with UTS's Journalism course - very practical based, no exams or theory and excellent internships with the ABC, NINE, SBS, and a number of publication agencies.
What internships do UNSW offer in regards to this course and what is the ratio of practical to theory?

Wait, are you serious? UTS journalism has no exams or theory? Wow. That sounds amazing - I should have gone to the open day, ugh.

Upon talking to a 3rd year student on Open Day I was shocked as well. She said they are very assignment and practical based. Only one exam is sat and that is in the 4th year in the final semester. Any UTS students able to corroborate this? But yeah, UNSW Journalism info would be sick
