Hi,
I am going through my study notes. In the Communications topic, are we required to know X & Z Modem protocols? I have read the syllabus but it doesn't exactly state it....

Just know them in general....eg X-25 is for packet switching.......you don't really need to know any protocols specifically except TCP/IP

yeah it doesn't say which exactly...but if anything they most likely would only ask common protocols.....i.e ftp, http, and yeah tcp/ip
