Do employers view combined law more highly than graduate law or vice versa?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of both?

Law is Law. Employers don't give a shit about which pathway you have chosen.

It's the difference between putting LLB or JD on your resume. Internationally, JD is far better recognized as the 'more' professional degree (because JD is sometimes used as a doctorate), but in Australia, the LLB and JD are very much the same. And to do graduate Law, you would need a degree to begin with, so you're still ending up with two or more degrees to write on your resume. It would make little difference, IMO.

Little difference apart from the fact that now most graduate law degrees are JD, but as said earlier, in Australia there is little difference between JD and LLB. Employers just look at whether you have a law degree and how you went in it. They don't care how you got to it. To be honest, they would not necessarily know you had even done combined or grad straight up (until they look at your official transcript). LLB and your first degree, on your testamur are completely separate- they don't mention each other- you graduate from one then graduate from the other- same as grad.
