I think their music's quite aesthetic, they have a lot of really great ideas, although for me it doesnt really sustain my interest.

Yeah, they're not THE BEST band [I apologise politik] but the thing is they're not trying to be. Music is everything and it's great that there are bands out there not afraid to use piano.

was talking about people who don't like coldplay cos they're 'so big'...

anyway, if you've ever heard any of coldplays interviews when 'yellow' was first released, they weren't expecting the fame they got. all bands have to go throught that "do people like us for our rep or our music" phase. personally i think they lost it after rush of blood, but what the hey, majority of there stuff was before that, and that's what i'm going ot the concert for.
be jealous. be VERY jealous.

I'm pretty keen on going to Coldplay, but I regret spending the money on the tickets. Their latest album was not brilliant by any means, and since it's what they're touring for, i'm not as excited as I perhaps should be.

Radiohead's next tour, on the other hand, will get me dancing wildly in anticipation.

Heh, I guess I'm lucky in that I scored a free ticket. A friend is conveniently going to Bali and shifted it off to me. While they're not one of my favourite bands, I do like some of their stuff, and Youth Group are awesome.

As for Radiohead - hell yes.
