Oh my gosh I hope you’re okay. You probably won’t see this before your exam today but here’s some things I do that actually help:
- try box breathing. Search it up. It takes like 1 min max and it really helps you ground yourself when you’re in the exam.
- don’t go to sleep right after studying. Choose something refreshing like reading a book or talking to friends or siblings or just going for a short walk in your garden for like 15-30 mins so your brain feels relaxed after a day of studying before you sleep. But don’t go on your phone.
- take each exam one at a time. Don’t stress about the exams that are coming up, only the one that’s real close. And whatever you do, don’t think about the exams that have passed at all. They’re done and as hard as it is to admit, you can’t change anything.
- don’t be stressed by how much studying other people are doing. I know I sometimes see people on here doing 10 past papers or somehting when I havent done a single one cause that’s not how I learn. Everyone learns with different techniques. focus on you only.
- think about your plans in that blessed period we have coming up after hsc and before uni. You will finally be able to do so much of the stuff you couldn’t because of studying. think of the exam periods as an open tunnel. Learn to see the light at the end. Be excited for it to end. This will also make you excited to finish each exam and get closer and closer to freedom.
I hope you’re feeling better and today’s exam goes well. And I hope this helped somewhat
