for anyone doing riii/lfr for mod a, my memorised essay only has two very big paragraphs, is that okay? my teacher said it was fine, but im scared i will lose marks for structure
ALSO, i only have two themes (power and manipulation), so do you reckon i should have extra backup quotes incase there is an extract specifying something else, e.g. on woman, or will it never be that specific?

i have around 3 quotes for each theme (9 in total), and yeah i'd say you should memorise a bit more quotes coz there are chances that a theme like love or guilt can come in the exam

dont memorise the essay word for word, know your framework inside and out and your quotes and where they go, the technique and then the effect of it. Thats all you need to know, dont make the mistake of memorising word for word, because when youre in the exam, you risk sounding robotic instead of engaging with the question throughout the entire essay

You should also keep testing yourself whether you can explain what it means and how it links, talk to yourself, write it down in paper as practice

This is what helped me over year 12 im not sure if this is effective for everyone

3=2/3 examples, you should take away 2 marks per question leaving you with the amount of textual evidence and techniques you need

Dont do examples for each mark you will waste a lot of your time

guys is it js me or is this class of 2025 cohort extremely big, like every schools biggest cohort is this year. does that mean its gonna be harder to get a higher ATAR cos its a rank?

I doubt it, because it's a percentile system! so 0.05% of 1000 is 50, but 0.05% of 2000 is 100 - theoretically, double the cohort would get double as many 99.95s! (plz don't fact check my math)
