its replacing PDHPE basically. PDHPE wont be running anymore, but the content is extremely similar. There will be 2 main topics, and there is a lot more depth study type of work within the course. From memory, the topics are (1: Sport, performance, energy systems etc and 2: Health in australia AND on a global scale).

Yes, its PDHPE but apparently it's going to become harder and going to incorporate more skills than just remembering shit with new graphs and stats.

The most recent guilt or regret I have is not choosing physics/chemistry instead of legal. Thinking of dropping legal to pick up 4 unit and/or maybe sci ext?

It's not hard, I can reassure you since my school does compacted curriculum, so I'm currently doing bio and eng adv this year for my HSC. Some parts may want to make you rip your hair out, but trust me, you'll be fine. Just have a look at the syllabus provided by NESA, that helps by a lot. Also, just ensure you don't fall behind too much, that will disadvantage you by a LOT.

anyone else going into three major works?
rn I'm planning on EX2, HX, and VA, and if life fails me I'll drop EX2 because I'm not sure how the critical responses are marked just yet (and my AH teacher is telling me I should 110% be doing HX). Sadly, I can't drop VA.

im planning to go into my modern prelim exam without studying and just winging everything because im dropping the subject next year. is this a bad idea? and will it badly affect my early entry offers. for context ive gotten an A and B on the other modern assessments from this year and i don't think i can pass the prelim exam.

it depends on how much weighting your prelims are (mine are 40% i think)

I wouldn't necessarily recommend not putting in any effort, since 30% does seem to be quite a large number in terms of weighing. Maybe, since you seem to not really want to try as hard, just aim to pass. But again, it's all up to you as to what you'd infer to be best.
