guys that was an interesting set of mod b questions. intially everyone shat themselves in the exam room seeing paragraphs of extracts it was pre funny but it turned out okay

weirdly enough i found mod c the easiest despite hating mod c with a passion. mod a was a decent it was like 'evaluate the role of creativity in enhancing the audiences appreciation of the textual connection between ..' and mod b there was a whole paragraph extract but the extract was good there was a lot to work with, and the question was iffy but idk i just gave it my best shot. how was standard?

Mod A was decent Mod B (for good night and good luck) was surprising but still really good and Mod C was probably the easiest

Only hard if you relied on your memorised essay cause the questions were kinda curveballs

paper 2 adv was good but like only timing was an issue i feel like sometimes my sentences werent as clear as they could be because i was rushing but oh well at least i finished it

I honestly dont understand why people memorise essays? its just a waste of time in my opinion and it runs the risk of not answering the question

i loved the poem they picked in the extract for mod b for david malouf it was god sent that was my strongest essay plan

I agree I think english is the only subject where you can sort of get away with it i know people who are memorising essays for modern and I think thats stupid

memorising essays for any subject tbh like the question is always going to be different. i see people complaining how english only measures intelligence by who can memorise the most. but i feel thats completely false? i mean just look at the paper 1 section 1 short answers thats not memorisation at all? idk i just get kind of pissed when people say that because eng is not just memorisation it only is if you make it be
