So like one of my essays may or may not have been like supported by AI rewriting & rephrasing and like shows up at like 70% AI on most AI checkers

Do the markers have a system in place for detecting AI for handwritten HSC English exams?

all depends on quotes though. nobody is gonna type up ur essay and check if its ai or not. Hsc markers anyways have like 8 to 10 minutes to mark each paper so they wont be bothered. but check ur quotes they will mark u down if ur quotes are wrong.

no lol but i feel like i should have cause I just wrote out my essay and it takes me 40 minutes (w/ intro and conclusion sentence thing), so I have 5 minutes to adapt my thesis and topic sentences. do u think thats enough time? or should i cut my essay a bit?

i think that should be fine considering in an exam ur likely to write faster anyways due to stress!

Alright sick thanks. I wrote the essay myself, but felt it was mid so I used AI to combine elements of a similar exemplar, but I personally pulled all the quotes out myself so I should be gucci.

yeah my teacher said they just mark whats on the paper so they can't bring in a bias thinking it could be ai w/out proof. Just make sure you dont use em dashes or anything like that cause then they have like "proof" to submit it for enquiry.

maybe just in case put ur original essay in again and put a prompt like: make this essay better but don't change any quotes or analysis and you'll get a high quality one

I haven't seriously touched ai ever cause I consider it so harmful to humanity in so many different ways yall better not all use ai cause then imma be at a serious disadvantage lmao

ai is truly a blessing but its gonna take YEARS for it to develop the same conscience as humans and if it does the earth will be eradicated.

they use normal distribution method to determine ur hsc score based on ur internals

Tbh with english people who write it themselves / dont use ai are likely to get better marks cuz its obvious when something is written by ai (it doesn't mention the rubric terminiolgoy at all, doesnt answer the question properly, structure is off, techniques are eh, analysis is so brief)
