its arguably the most versatile of the poems and it can be adapted into lots of arguments... if the question specifies something about spirituality, or the extract is from Magi, how will you build argument????
i feel like imma skip hollow men js cos its been asked twice-thirce in the last decade

honestly out of all the poems you cld skip this ones such a risk :(:( like i think its a rlly good transition out of prufrock/preludes/rhapsody and into magi... since theres a high chance of mod being an extract (and magi being the most contextually significant poem) you cld build a much stronger argument if you talk ab his past ideas of pseudo salvation in hollow men. then again, totally up to you but i feel like youd be missing a big piece of eliots context if you dont prep it

I did refrence the poem but only in one para. they said do Ladybird and ONE other poem. my essay was body 1: aquarius and radiance, body 2: ladybird and radiance and 3rd body was again aquarius and radiance. so i only had 2 quotes from ladybird in my entire essay

I’ve revised my Mod A essay so that women appear in each paragraph at least once or twice. However, if a question specifically focused on gender (which seems unlikely), would my essay still work even if women aren’t the central focus throughout?

I was thinking of framing Richard’s rise to power and his illegitimacy as reflective of patriarchal structures in the Elizabethan era, especially through the Great Chain of Being, to connect masculine and feminine portrayals of power. Would that still meet the expectations for a gender-based question?
