It won't even let me go there on another window :/ (it's set as my home page)

I'll try other ways though

EDIT: Yeah, it really won't let me go on two windows, keeps saying "Stopped".

will try netscape.

ahhh

I think I'm done! Finally! I can't believe I got in.

All my classes were almost totally empty, if not totally empty. Except for ARTS300 which is still "full" from the day before enrollments opened :p I'm going to try registering for it anyway and see what happens - it's a compulsary tute and there's only one, so I'm not too worried.

Congrats faintygirl! You started 5 mins before I did! :D

Anyone know where we will get books and pay our uni fees?
You have to buy your books from somewhere like the Co-op bookshop on campus or 2nd hand (cheaper). You can either wait for you lecturers to give a book list or log into myMQ and click on the 'student information' tab at the top and see which books you need. Then try searching through the buy/sell thread (http://community.boredofstudies.org...r-2-2006-books-buy-sell-thread-p11-start.html) or go to www.textbookexchange.com.au and search there, there are also lots of posters around uni .As for fees you can do that through eStudent, i think.

i think you only print your statement from estudent and then pay as usual (e.g. bpay). the following message is titled as paying via estudent but when you read it, it only talks about printing the tax invoice.

From: Denise Osmand <student_fees@mq.edu.au>
Sent: Jan 16 2007 05:08PM

This message was sent by Denise Osmand and authorised by Robert Tongue,
Acting Director - Financial Services.

Pay your student account via your online Statement of Outstanding Charges
in eStudent.

Dear Student

As part of the University's commitment to continually improve services for
students, from 2007, students will be able to view and print their
Statement of Outstanding Charges online from eStudent/My
Finances/Outstanding Debt.

Click on "View my current debts" and then "View my Statement of
Outstanding Charges".

Since students now have the ability to view and print their Statement of
Outstanding Charges online the University will no longer be mailing out
Tax Invoices.

From 2007 you will be required to access eStudent in order to obtain your
Statement of Outstanding Charges to enable payment before the due date
specified on your statement. Please note that a $200 late payment fee will
be incurred on all payments made after the due date.

In exceptional circumstances Tax Invoices will be made available upon
request by emailing:- student_fees@mq.edu.au.

Macquarie Graduate School of Management will continue to forward Tax
Invoices to students enrolled in their programs in 2007.

Denise Osmand, Director and Bursar Financial Services
