my mate had a incident at KFC....

bkoz he waz casual head office told him you cant claim compensation

i asked my teacher he said that bullshits and you can still claim

soo are kfc bullshit kuntz??

LET ME KNOW WAT UZE THINKK..

I actually work in this industry.

All employees, regardless of employment status, are eligible to claim compensation through their employer's insurance company.

Most employers are quite hesitant to fire employees until such a time as they are certified fit for pre-injury duties as it has significant impact on their premiums. My concern, in the current economic climate, would be as a casual, it is quite easy to fire someone once they return to pre-injury duties, and so I would be encouraging your friend to seriously consider whether or not compensation is the way he wants to go.
