Erm..... Jewish parents. Not Christian. (not saying christian people don't..... Just that the custom stems from Judaism) Jesus came to let gentiles (non-jews) know God... And he allowed them to keep their ways in regards to things like circumcision.

I don't understand why people should care either way though.
