hey guys,

i was wondering if i should drop chemistry. im yr 11 now. i just got back my marks and i got a 70 for the indpendent paper. is that bad?

No, one bad test in year 11 doesn't equate to meaning that you should drop the subject for year 12

I strongly advise that you keep chemistry. I started poorly in physics. My first test in year 11 I got 37%. I improved greatly and in the HSC tasks got 100% for the first task/exam came thirs overall. So it is too early to consider giving up, with time and hard work you will improve.

Chemistry does scale very well and it is worth keeping in the long run it will help you. The subject also becomes more interesting in year 12. Year 11 chem can be quite boring.
